“Man of Steel” has been in theaters for exactly one month, which means given the multitude of films being released in the weeks to come, this was probably the last time the film would rank in the top 10 at the North American box office.  With that said, this past weekend “Man of Steel” placed 10th adding $4,825,000 to its domestic haul.  The film has now earned $280,995,000 in the United States and Canada.  Internationally, the film opened in Brazil over the weekend and overall has now collected $338,200,000.  Worldwide the film has an overall tally of $619,195,000, a number that would even impress Lex Luthor!  “Man of Steel” has recently passed the worldwide box-office total of “Iron-Man” and will soon surpass “Iron-Man 2.”  It also has the distinction of being the highest grossing reboot of a franchise.
