Well the debate can final end. The film that will feature the Man of Steel and The Dark Knight sharing the silver screen for the first time has an official title and logo. The film directed by Zack Snyder, and starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman is titled, “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. So much for all those domain names Warner Brothers registered a while back. In fairness all those would have been pretty terrible titles. I like this. It’s an effective title. The idea of Batman and Superman squaring off will pique the intrest of even the most casual of filmgoers, while the subtitle alludes to the world building of the DC Cinematic Universe that began with “Man of Steel.” I can’t wait for more official news, information, and images to be released, now that production is underway.
