FOX’s Batman prequel “GOTHAM” has made it pretty clear that the city may just be the most corrupt place on Earth, and it’s only slipping further into decay. And that’s only after two episodes. At face value, there appear to be only three upstanding citizens in Gotham City. James Gordon, Alfred Pennyworth, and Bruce Wayne. So the city can definitely use a few more heroes. And they’ll get one, in the form of assistant district attorney Harvey Dent, to be played by actor Nicholas D’Agosto. He’ll be one of the good guys, that is until he lives long enough to see himself become the villain known as Two-Face! For the show, the character is described as; “a bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney whose sole mission is to eradicate the crime and corruption that has poisoned Gotham. Although he one day will serve as the white knight Gotham needs so badly as a DA, Dent also gives us a fleeting glimpse of the hideous villain he will become.” The role is currently recurring, but there is an option for a bump to series regular for Season 2. I haven’t seen the actor in anything, but “GOTHAM” has been spot on with casting thus far, so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt.
